Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Fuel Filter Assembly, Fuel Lines, Sensor Connectors And Bracket Bolts

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the fuel filter assembly. Refer to Fuel Filter Replacement .

  4. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket.
  5. Disconnect the EGR and brake booster vacuum hoses.

  6. Remove the vacuum pump.
