Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the O-ring with clean engine oil. Replace the O-rings if damaged.
    2. Fig 1: View Of CKP Sensor

  2. Install the CKP sensor (1) to the block.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the CKP sensor nut (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  4. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Perform the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
