Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2011 GMC Acadia, 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2011 Buick Enclave. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the upper bolt into the APP sensor assembly.
  2. Install the APP sensor assembly into the vehicle.
  3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the remaining 2 lower APP sensor assembly bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  6. Install the I/P wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the APP sensor assembly.
  7. Install the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement (Acadia) , Driver Knee Bolster Replacement (Traverse) , Driver Knee Bolster Replacement (Enclave) .
  8. Install the left I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Enclave) , Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Acadia) , Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Traverse) .
