Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement

WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Acadia) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Enclave) or Front Floor Console Replacement (OUTLOOK) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Traverse) .
1 Vehicle Yaw Sensor and Lateral Accelerometer Nut (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb ft)

2 Vehicle Yaw with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Sensor Assembly
Procedure: 
Disconnect the electrical connector.
