Installation Procedure

  1. Use the J 25033-C  installer to install the power steering pump pulley.

    NOTE:

    The power steering pump pulley must be installed onto the power steering pump shaft so that the hub of the pulley is flush to within 0.25 mm (0.010 in) with the end of the pump shaft.

  2. Check the position of the power steering pump pulley on the power steering pump.
  3. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (LS9) , Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (w/o LS9) .
  4. Install the BPMV bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement .
  5. Install the BPMV. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
