Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuel Tank Heat Shield & Fasteners

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the fuel tank heat shield (2) and tighten the fasteners (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    2. Fig 2: Fuel Tank Straps & Fasteners

  2. Install the fuel tank straps (2) and tighten the fasteners (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
