Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery fuse block/engine control module cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal (1).Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  3. Remove the negative battery ground terminal (2).
  4. Remove the auxiliary negative battery ground bolt (2).

  6. Remove the engine block battery ground terminal (1) and bolt (2).
  7. Remove the negative battery cable (3).
