Front Side Door Latch Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Enclave) , Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Acadia or Traverse) , Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Enclave) or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Acadia or Traverse) . Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Latch Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Release the door latch cable retainers from the door. Disconnect the door latch electrical connector. Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Front Side Door Latch Assembly Procedure Transfer the latch rod.

Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Front Side Door Latch Screw (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Release the door latch cable retainers from the door.
Disconnect the door latch electrical connector.

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)

Procedure
Transfer the latch rod.
