Liftgate Latch Replacement

Liftgate Latch Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse) , Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave) or Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia) .
1 Liftgate Latch Screw (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 Liftgate Latch Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Remove the plastic tether before installing the liftgate latch.
  3. Calibrate the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Calibration .
  4. Adjust the liftgate if needed. Refer to Liftgate Adjustment (Acadia) , Liftgate Adjustment (Enclave) or Liftgate Adjustment (Traverse) .
