Instrument Panel Airbag Disable Switch Replacement (With C99)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement .
1 Instrument Panel Airbag Disable Switch Assembly

Procedure

  1. Use a small flat bladed tool to aid in the removal of the switch from the instrument panel side trim panel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
