Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front
.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
, for the V6 engine or to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
for the V8 engine.
- Disconnect the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley only. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement
for 3.6L or DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT - ACCESSORY
for all except 3.6L.
- Disconnect the power steering pump bracket from the engine block. DO NOT disconnect the power steering hoses. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
