ATEQ TPMS Reset Procedure
NOTE:
Unless otherwise stated, on most tire pressure sensor equipped vehicles, low tire pressure indicator lights and messages can be cleared by inflating tires to the specified pressure and driving at least 25 mph or more for a few minutes. A sensor activation tool (TPMS3) can be used in place of driving.
NOTE:
Each TPMS sensor has a unique identification code. The identification code needs to be matched to a new tire/wheel position after rotating the tires or replacing one or more of the TPMS sensors. Follow the procedures below.
When a tire is installed, the vehicle must be:
- Stationary for about 20 minutes before the system recalculates.
- Takes up to 10 minutes, driving at a minimum speed of 12 mph (19 km/h).
- A dash (-) or pressure value will display in the DIC.
