Preliminary Procedure Disconnect and unclip the MAF harness from the sensor and the air cleaner assembly. Remove the mass airflow sensor, if required. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement . Disconnect the outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
1	Air Cleaner Assembly Procedure In order to service the air cleaner assembly, disengage the rear attachment first by moving in the cross car direction prior to lifting the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle.
