Preliminary Procedure Remove the underbody rear air deflector right side. Refer to Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side Remove the underbody rear air deflector left side. Refer to Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Left Side Remove the exhaust muffler. Support the fuel tank with jack stands. Remove the left fuel tank strap. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement . NOTE: Loosen the right fuel tank strap and lower the fuel tank just enough to disengage the left shield retainer. Disengage shield retainers.

Remove the underbody rear air deflector left side. Refer to Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Left Side
Remove the exhaust muffler.
Support the fuel tank with jack stands.
Remove the left fuel tank strap. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .

NOTE:

Loosen the right fuel tank strap and lower the fuel tank just enough to disengage the left shield retainer.
