Installation Procedure

  1. Generator (4) - Install
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Generator Mounting Stud (3)Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Generator Mounting Nut (2) Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Generator Bolt (1)Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  7. Electrical Connector (4) - Connect
  8. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Install
  9. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Install and tighten 17 N.m (13 lb ft)
  10. Generator Terminal Protective Boot (1) - Install
  11. Drive Belt - Install Drive Belt Replacement
  12. Front Wheel Drive Shaft-Right Side - Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side
  13. Front Compartment Front Center Insulator - Install Front Compartment Front Center Insulator Replacement
  14. Lower the vehicle.
  15. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
