Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Open the front compartment insulator service opening.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Crankshaft Position Sensor

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
After replacement of the crankshaft position sensor, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset function. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup (LUZ)
