Installation Procedure

Install the diesel fuel separator (1) from the top direction between the intake manifold and the exhaust pressure sensor bracket.

Install the 2 diesel fuel separator bolts (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Preinstall a NEW clamp (3) to the fuel injection fuel return hose (2).

Install the fuel injection fuel return hose (2) to the diesel fuel separator (1).
Tighten the clamp (3) with CH-22610 plier.
Remove the EN-6015 plug from the fuel feed hose (5).
Install the fuel feed hose (5) along with a NEW clamp (6) to the diesel fuel separator (1).
Close the fuel feed hose clamp (6) with CH-22610 plier.
Remove the EN-6015 plug from the fuel return pipe (4) and install the fuel return pipe (4) to the diesel fuel separator (1) until it audible engage. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
