Installation Procedure

- Position the front lower control arm (3) on the vehicle.
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2)» Install [2x]CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Install NEW bolts.
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1)» Install, but do NOT tighten [2x]
- Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2)» Install
Install a NEW bolt.
- Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (1)» Install and tightenCAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Tighten
- First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (90-105 degrees)
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2)» Tighten [2x]
Tighten
- First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (75-90 degrees)
- Connect the front lower control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle.
- Steering Knuckle Bolt (2)» Install
Install a NEW bolt.
- Steering Knuckle Nut (1)» Install and tighten
Tighten
- First Pass: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
- Second Pass: Loosen 120 degrees
- Third Pass: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (30-45 degrees)
- Connect any harnesses or retainers previously disconnected from the front lower control arm.

- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
