Installation Procedure

Position the front lower control arm (3) on the vehicle.

Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2)» Install [2x]
CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

Install NEW bolts.
Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1)» Install, but do NOT tighten [2x]
Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2)» Install

Install a NEW bolt.
Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (1)» Install and tighten
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2. Final Pass: (90-105 degrees)
Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2)» Tighten [2x]

Tighten
1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2. Final Pass: (75-90 degrees)
Connect the front lower control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle.
Steering Knuckle Bolt (2)» Install

Install a NEW bolt.
Steering Knuckle Nut (1)» Install and tighten
Tighten
1. First Pass: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2. Second Pass: Loosen 120 degrees
3. Third Pass: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
4. Final Pass: (30-45 degrees)
Connect any harnesses or retainers previously disconnected from the front lower control arm.
