Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Tray

  1. Install Battery Tray (1)
    2. Fig 2: Battery Tray Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Battery Tray Bolt (1) and tighten 11.5 N.m (102 lb in)

  3. Attach {If equipped} Body Harness Retainer (1) @ Battery Tray
  4. Install Battery Current Sensor (2) @ Battery Tray

  5. Attach Battery Positive Cable Retainer (1) @ Battery Tray
  6. Attach {If equipped} Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Retainer (2) @ Battery Tray

  7. Attach Engine Control Module (1) @ Battery Tray (2)
  8. Install the battery. Battery Replacement 
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
