Installation Procedure
- Without start/stop system use the following steps:
- Install Battery Current Sensor (2)
- Install the battery negative cable terminal cover (1).
- Install Battery Negative Cable Clip (1)
- Connect Battery Current Sensor Connector (2)
- Install body extension current sensor wiring harness to battery negative cable bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Connect the battery negative pole clamp (1).
- Tighten the battery negative pole clamp nut (2) to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

CAUTION:Refer to Fastener Caution .
- With start/stop system use the following steps:
- Install Battery Negative Cable Clip (1)
- Install Battery Negative Cable (3)
- Install a open-end spanner (1) to counter-hold the battery sensor as shown in the graphic.
- Install the battery negative cable nut (2) and tighten to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
- Tighten the battery negative pole clamp nut to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).
NOTE:Use a counterholder to prevent the battery sensor from damage.
- Connect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
- Close the right rear door.
- Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support Replacement
- Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement (Notchback)Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement (Hatchback)
- Close the rear compartment lid.
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
- Program the volatile memory. Volatile Memory Programming
- Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
