1	Heated Oxygen Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . CAUTION: Refer to Heated Oxygen and Oxygen Sensor Caution . CAUTION: Refer to Silicon Contamination of Heated Oxygen Sensors Caution . CAUTION: Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Resistance Learn Reset Caution . CAUTION: A special anti-seize compound is used on the oxygen sensor threads. New service sensors should already have the compound applied to the threads. Coat the threads of a reused sensor with anti-seize compound P/N 5613695 or equivalent. Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. When the replacement is completed, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset functions. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup Tighten 42 N.m (31 lb ft) Special Tools EN-48259 Heated Oxygen Sensor Remover/Installer Equivalent regional tools:Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools)Special Tools (Mechanical Tools)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
