Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Front Sensor Retaining Nut

  1. Install the front position sensor (3) to the mounting point on the front cradle (2).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the front position sensor retaining nut (1).

    Tighten 

    10 N.m (89 lb in)

  3. Connect the front position sensor link (1) to the lower control arm ball stud (2).

  4. Connect the front position sensor harness connector (1) to the front position sensor.
  5. Reinstall the harness clips (2) to the front position sensor.
  6. Install the front wheel. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
