Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Exhaust Service Warning .
WARNING:
Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning .
- If equipped with all wheel drive (AWD), remove the transfer case. Refer to Transfer Case Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Replacement .
- Remove the catalytic converter to exhaust manifold nuts (2).
- Remove the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold.
- Remove and discard the catalytic converter to exhaust manifold seal (1).
