Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front lower control arm ball stud on the front lower control arm.
    2. Fig 2: Ball Joint Mounting Nuts & Bolts

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    The front lower control arm ball stud bolts should be installed from the top pointing downwards.

  2. Install the front lower control arm ball stud bolts and nuts and tighten the nuts to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).
  3. Remove the front lower control arm assembly from the vise.
  4. Install Front Lower Control Arm - Lower Control Arm Replacement 
  5. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Specifications
