Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Positioning Stabilizer Shaft

  1. Position the front stabilizer shaft on the vehicle.
  2. NOTE:

    If replacing the front stabilizer shaft, use NEW front stabilizer shaft insulators.

  3. Install the front stabilizer shaft insulators and brackets. Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement 
  4. Raise the drivetrain and front suspension frame to the vehicle body leaving a gap of approximately 12 mm (0.5 in).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the front frame bolts (2). Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement
  7. Install the front frame reinforcement bolts (1). Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement

  9. Install the front frame rear bolts (1). Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement

  11. Install the left and right front frame reinforcement bolts. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement
  12. Remove the adjustable stands.
  13. Install the bolt for the intermediate shaft bracket to the front cradle. Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft Replacement
  14. { If equipped } Install Propeller Shaft - Propeller Shaft Replacement
  15. Install Front Stabilizer Shaft Link at Front Stabilizer Shaft - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement 
  16. Install Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod at Steering Knuckle - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
  17. Install the front tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  18. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
