Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Front Strut Assembly

  1. Position the front strut assembly on the vehicle.
    2. Fig 2: Upper Strut Mounting Nuts

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the front suspension shock absorber upper mounting nuts and tighten to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
  3. Raise the vehicle.

  4. Install the steering knuckle bolts and nuts and tighten the nuts to 195 N.m (144 lb ft).

  5. Install the front wheel speed sensor wiring harness (1) and (2) to the front strut (3).
  6. Install Front Stabilizer Shaft Link at Strut Assembly - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement 
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install Air Inlet Grille Panel - Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement
  9. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
