Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum and Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) .
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION:

Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.

    Tighten 

    20 N.m (15 lb ft)
