July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

  1. Ensure ALL fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
  2. Lubricate the fuel feed pipe fitting with silicon free engine oil. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
  3. GM4757051

    Position the NEW fuel feed pipe (3).

    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed and Return Pipe Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  5. Fuel Feed Pipe Fitting (1) @ Fuel Pump - Install and tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
  6. GM4757050

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Bracket - Install [2x]

  7. GM4757049

    Fuel Feed Pipe (1) - Connect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

    8. NOTE:

    If a fuel leak occurs at the fuel pump, the fuel pump will need to be replaced.

  8. Inspect for leaks using the following procedure:
    1. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF for 2 seconds.
    2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
    3. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.
    4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
