Removal Procedure

  1. Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield - Remove - Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement 
  2. GM4846614

    Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

  3. Remove the engine wiring harness clip (2) from the retainer.
  4. Remove the oil pump flow control valve bolt (3).
  5. Separate the oil pump flow control valve retainer (4) from the engine.
  6. GM4846615

    Remove the oil pump flow control valve bolt (1).

  7. Remove the oil pump flow control valve (2) from the engine block.
