Installation Procedure

Steering Gear Boot Inner Clamp (3) @Steering Gear Boot (2) - Loosely install
Install a NEW clamp.
- Apply the lubricant from the service kit to the steering linkage inner tie rod and to the steering gear boot.
- Steering Gear Boot (2) - Install
Use the CH-804 tensioner to tighten the steering gear boot inner clamp (1).
Steering Gear Boot Outer Clamp (2) - Install
- Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Nut (1) - Install
- Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod - Install - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
- Measure and adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment
