Installation Procedure

    Battery (3) - Install

  2. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

    Position the radiator surge tank (3) back into place. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (L83 L86)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (L96)

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Install - Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (with K4B, KHB)Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (NV8)Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement (without K4B)

  6. Retaining Tab (1) - Engage [2x]
  7. Connect the wiring harness connector at the right side of the fuse block.

    Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)

    Battery Positive Cable (3) - Install

  10. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  11. Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install
  12. Retainer Clip (4) - Engage

    Front Fender Rear Upper Brace (4) - Install - Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement

  14. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)
