Removal Procedure

WARNING:

CAUTION:

Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .

CAUTION:

Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM.

Disable the high voltage system. High Voltage Disabling

Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip(2) - Remove

NOTE:

Do NOT disconnect the engine coolant hoses.

Radiator Surge Tank(1) - Position aside

Cap the brake pipe fittings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

Brake Pipe Fitting(1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve(3) - Remove[4x]

Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt(1) - Remove

NOTE:

Protect the windshield edge before removing the component.

Carefully remove the brake pressure modulator valve (3) and the brake pressure modulator valve bracket (2) from the vehicle.
