Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Convertible)
  2. Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Coupe - LGX, LTG)
  3. Starter Replacement (LTG)
1 Crankshaft Position Sensor Fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Crankshaft Position Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the crankshaft position sensor.
  2. If installing a new sensor, perform the crankshaft position system variation learn procedure. Crankshaft Position Variation Learn
