Removal Procedure
Refer to Collision Sectioning Warning .
Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning .
The radiator support is high strength low alloy steel. HIGH STRENGTH LOW ALLOY STEEL .
Refer to Collision Repair Specifications
- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Remove all related panels and components.
- Remove radiator upper support replacement.
- Remove the sealers and anti-corrosion materials from the repair area as necessary. Anti-Corrosion Treatment and RepairNOTE:

NOTE:Do not damage or cut attaching panels and reinforcements.
- Remove all spot welds (1) from the front compartment upper side rail. [8X]NOTE:

- Remove all spot welds (1) from radiator support. [6X]NOTE:

- Remove all spot welds (1) from radiator support. [2X]NOTE:

- Cut the front compartment upper side rail at the marked location (1).NOTE:

NOTE:Do not damage or cut attaching panels and reinforcements.
- Cut the radiator support at the front marked location (1).NOTE:
Left shown, right similar.
NOTE:Do not damage or cut attaching panels and reinforcements.
- Cut the radiator support at the rear marked location (1).NOTE:

- Apply heat to shaded area (1) to release adhesive from front compartment upper side rail sectioning.NOTE:

- Remove the front compartment upper side rail sectioning from the vehicle.
- Radiator Support Body Bolt (1) >> Remove [2X] Body Upgrade Mount ReplacementNOTE:

- Apply heat to shaded area (1) to release adhesive from radiator support.
- Remove radiator support (1) from the vehicle.NOTE:

NOTE:Do not damage or cut attaching panels and reinforcements.
- Remove all spot welds (1) from radiator support section. [4X]NOTE:

- Remove all spot welds from radiator support section. [7X]NOTE:

- Remove spot welds (1) from radiator support section. [1X]NOTE:

- Apply heat to shaded area (1) to release adhesive from radiator support section.NOTE:

- Remove radiator support sections (1) from the vehicle.
- Remove remaining adhesive from vehicle.
