Removal Procedure
Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning .
Apply masking tape over the outside rearview mirror glass (1).
Apply pressure inward at the top of the outside rearview mirror glass (1) until full travel is reached.
Firmly grasp the outer bottom edge of the outside rearview mirror glass (1).
Retaining pressure on the outside rearview mirror glass (1), pull outward until the outside rearview mirror glass is released from the outside rearview mirror actuator (2).
- Disconnect all electrical connectors.
Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Release the retaining tabs on the outside rearview mirror housing bezel (1).
Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Bezel (1) - Remove
Reposition the outside rearview mirror housing cover.
- Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Outside Rearview Mirror Retainer (2) - Remove
- Side View Driver Information Camera (3) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Observe the mounting and location of the side view driver information camera to ensure proper reinstallation.
