Installation Procedure

    Engine Coolant Fan Module Radiator Assembly (1) - Install

    Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal (3) - Install NEW

  3. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (5) - Install NEW

  6. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (4) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install
  7. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Nut (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  8. Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Install
  9. Retainer (1) - Install

    Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (3) @ Engine Radiator - Install

  11. Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Install
  12. Retainer (1) - Install

    Radiator Surge Tank Air Separator (1) - Install

  14. Connect the electrical connectors and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (1) @ Engine Auxiliary Radiator - Install

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (2) - Install

  17. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 
  18. Install the wiring harness as necessary.

    Clip (1) - Install [2x]

    Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Auxiliary Radiator - Install

  21. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose Retainer (1) - Engage

    Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator (4) - Install

  23. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Nut (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  24. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  25. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (5) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  26. Turbocharger Outlet Duct Front Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Fresh Air Tube (1) @ Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Oil Filler Cap (1) - Remove

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) - Install

  30. Oil Filler Cap - Install

    Radiator Upper Bracket - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Install

  34. Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    NOTE:

    The upper shutter and upper baffle will be installed together.

    Radiator Air Front Upper Baffle (2) - Install

  36. Connect the electrical connectors and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
  37. Radiator Air Front Upper Baffle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Hood Front Bumper Bracket (1) - Install

    Hood Front Bumper Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Hood Front Bumper Bracket Support - Right Side (5) - Install

  41. Hood Front Bumper Bracket Support - Left Side (4) - Install
  42. Hood Front Bumper Bracket Support - Center (3) - Install
  43. Hood Front Bumper Bracket Support Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  44. Hood Front Bumper Bracket Support Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Bumper Shutter Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Headlamp Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Bumper Fascia (1) - Install - Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Base) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Z71)

  48. Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) , or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
  49. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
  50. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
