Brush Circuits

  1. To test inner brush circuit, connect one ohmmeter lead to inner brush. Connect other ohmmeter lead to inner brush terminal. See Fig 1. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace brush assembly.

  2. To test outer brush circuit, connect one ohmmeter lead to outer brush. Connect other ohmmeter lead to outer brush terminal. See Fig 1. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace brush assembly.
