Checking Fluid Level
All Chrysler power steering pumps are equipped with a dipstick built into the filler cap. Clean dirt and grease from filler cap area to avoid contaminating fluid. Check fluid level with engine stopped. Maintain fluid level at the "FULL" mark as indicated on dipstick.
NOTE:
If fluid level becomes abnormally low, inspect power steering system for leaks. Refill pump using recommended fluid and recheck after 500 miles to verify system condition.
