Anti-Lock Brake System - BOSCH Abs-3: Description

Bosch Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS-3) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during heavy braking. This allows operator to maintain steering control while stopping vehicle in shortest distance possible. Major components consist of hydraulic assembly, 4 wheel sensors, Anti-Lock Brake Control Module (ABCM), 2 warning lights (Red BRAKE and Amber ANTI-LOCK) and pump/motor assembly. See Figure . ABS has a self-diagnostic system to indicate a system malfunction and use for system trouble shooting.
