Sensor Block: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition off. Depress brake pedal 25 times or more to depressurize brake system. Unplug all electrical connectors from hydraulic assembly. From under instrument panel, remove clip retaining brake pedal and discard. Remove insulator sound panel from driver's side. Remove nuts retaining hydraulic assembly.
  2. From engine compartment, pull hydraulic assembly outward enough to gain access to sensor block. DO NOT  disconnect brake lines from hydraulic assembly. Remove sensor block cover.
  3. Unplug 12-pin connector from sensor block. Remove 3 bolts retaining sensor block. Carefully remove sensor block. DO NOT  damage "O" ring at pressure port.
