Test 56B - All Taillights Out

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  at end of article.
  1. Reconnect headlight switch 9-pin connector. Turn parking lights on. Using DRB-II in voltmeter mode, backprobe terminal "R" (Black/Yellow wire) of headlight switch 9-pin connector. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace headlight switch. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
  2. If voltage is more than 10 volts, disconnect light outage module 14-pin connector. See Figure . Check connector condition, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Check voltage on terminal No. 12 (Black/Yellow wire) of light outage module 14-pin connector.
  3. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace light outage module. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Black/Yellow wire between headlight switch and light outage module. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
