Test 56E - All Taillights Out

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  at end of article.
  1. Reconnect headlight switch 9-pin connector. Replace fuse No. 14 in fuse block. See Figure . Turn park lights on. Reconnect license plate light connectors. Check license plate lights. If lights are off, repair short in Black/Yellow wire to license plate lights and replace fuse No. 14. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
  2. If parking lights are on, reconnect left rear lighting 6-pin connector. Check left rear side marker and taillights. If left side marker and taillights are off, repair short in Black/Pink or Black/Yellow wire to left rear lights and replace fuse No. 14. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If left side marker and taillights are on, reconnect right rear lighting 6-pin connector.
  3. Check right rear side marker and taillights. If right side marker and taillights are off, repair short in Black/Red or Black/Yellow wire to right rear lights and replace fuse No. 14. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If right side marker and taillights are on, reconnect left front lighting 10-pin connector.
  4. Check left front side marker and parking lights. If left front side marker and parking lights are off, repair short in Black/Yellow wire to left front lights and replace fuse No. 14. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If left front side marker and parking lights are on, reconnect right front lighting 10-pin connector.
  5. Check right front side marker and parking lights. If right front side marker and parking lights are off, repair short in Black/Yellow wire to right front lights and replace fuse No. 14. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If right front side marker and parking lights are on, test is complete. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
