Test 52B - Chime Feed Circuit

  1. With DRB-II in voltmeter mode, check voltage on feed side of fuse No. 5 (Red/Light Green wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open feed circuit. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
  2. If voltage is more than 10 volts, disconnect headlight switch 7-pin connector from back of switch. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of parking light switch output circuit (Black/Yellow wire) between headlight switch connector and terminal No. 23 of Body Controller Module (BCM) Bone connector. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open circuit in Black/Yellow wire. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
