Test 26C - Headlamp Power Feed

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
  1. Put DRB in ohmmeter mode. Measure resistance at power distribution center terminal No. 57 (top terminal of second fuse from right on bottom row, Red/White wire). See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Red/White wire between power distribution center and low beam headlamp relay for short to ground. See Figure . If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Measure resistance at low beam headlamp relay connector terminal "D" (Violet/White wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Violet/White wire between low beam headlamp relay center and low beam headlamp connector. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace headlamp system 40-amp fuse.
