Windshield Wiper Test 2E - Wipers Not Working At All

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER INTRODUCTION. Perform TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect wiper motor Light Gray 4-pin connector and ensure connector is clean and not damaged. Connect a jumper wire between intermittent wiper relay cavity No. 29 (Red/Gray wire) and HI/LO wiper relay cavity No. 11 (Brown/Orange wire). See Figure in WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  . Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on wiper motor 4-pin connector terminal No. 3 (Brown/Orange wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Brown/Orange wire between HI/LO relay and wiper motor.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of wiper motor 4-pin connector terminal No. 2 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace wiper motor. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire between wiper motor 4-pin connector terminal and chassis ground.
