Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Inspection

Check tone wheel for missing or broken teeth. Ensure tone wheel has had no contact with wheel speed sensor. If tone wheel runout exceeds .010" (.25 mm), replace wheel speed sensor.

CAUTION: Proper installation of wheel speed sensor cables is critical to continued operation of system. Ensure cables are installed in retainers. Failure to install cables in retainers may cause contact with moving parts and/or over-extension of cables, resulting in open circuit.
