Enabling Ignition System

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Eagle Vision, 1995 Dodge Intrepid, and 1995 Chrysler Concorde. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. When testing and/or repairs are completed verify battery condition. Recharge battery as required, after starter tests have been completed. Disconnect all test equipment.
  2. On models with conventional distributor ignition, disconnect jumper wire and connect ignition coil secondary wire to distributor cap. On models with direct ignition system, connect coil pack electrical connector. See Figure. On all models, start engine several times to verify malfunction has been corrected.
