Test 9A - No Chime With Turn Signals On

  1. If a speedometer problem exists, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER. If a speedometer problem does not exist, turn ignition on. Check turn signal operation. If turn signals do not operate properly, see appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If turn signals operate properly, go to next step.
  2. Turn left turn signal on. Using scan tool, read left turn signal status. If scan tool does not display ON then OFF, go to TEST 9B. If scan tool displays ON then OFF, go to next step.
  3. Turn right turn signal on. Using scan tool, read right turn signal status. If scan tool does not display ON then OFF, go to TEST 9C . If scan tool displays ON then OFF, system is okay at this time.
