Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

The MAP sensor provides a PCM-supplied CCD/PCI bus signal to indicate engine load on input shaft and output torque load on output shaft. The TCM uses these input signals for modifying transmission shifting and reduce 3-4 shift hunting on grades.
