Test 101A - All Doors (Except Left Front) Fail To Unlock

NOTE: For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER  section in this article. Perform TEST VER-1  VERIFICATION TEST after each repair.
  1. Remove door unlock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of door unlock relay connector terminal "E" (Black wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on door unlock relay connector terminal "C" (Pink/Violet wire). Depress and hold door lock switch to UNLOCK position. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Pink/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace door unlock relay.
